Rosemont Baptist Church is an assembly of people who believe in Jesus Christ as King of kings and Lord of lords and who trust in His righteous blood as payment for their sins.  We meet together at our facilities on West Clemmonsville Road, between Highway 52 and Peters Creek Parkway in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.  Our philosophy is the same at our physical site and our website - All visitors are welcome.

The lighthouse above is a fitting symbol of our desire for this website.  In an age of spiritual darkness, in a world with visible and unseen dangers like jagged rocks on a coastline, guidance is found only in the eternal, unchanging light of God's Word.  As individuals and as a group, we want to radiate the light of the glory of Jesus Christ to as many as possible all over the world.  While we wish we could meet all of you personally, we realize it is not humanly possible, so we will be satisfied knowing you are seeing the truth through the pages of our website.

In the past we adopted an informal slogan at Rosemont - "Knowledge, Edification and Compassion for the glory of our Lord."  We use this slogan as an informal guide, or check on all our ministries as individuals, in our families, and in our congregation. 

Knowledge - Simply put, we believe we can only love and serve the Lord to the extent that we know Him, so the teaching and preaching of the Bible is central in all we do at Rosemont. 

Edification - The Bible teaches us that we have the responsibility and privilege of ministering to the needs of His people with our spiritual gifts and resources.  As we assist and encourage one another individually, the group as a whole is strengthened spiritually to the glory of Christ. 

Compassion - The more we learn about God's grace to us spiritually and materially, the more we see we are to share that grace with our neighbors in this community and across the globe.  With that in mind, physical compassion and evangelistic ministries are an integral part of our work for the glory of the Lord. 

We invite all of you to join us at Rosemont in these efforts, but if you are not able to meet with us physically, we hope you will be instructed and encouraged through the information in these pages.
